Now the big question seems to be who will be there. We have two words for you: Milcho Leviev. He will bring along one of the most acclaimed drummers by the name of Peter Erskine as well as one of the most brilliant voices from our region who listens to the name of Vicky Almazidu. You want even more? No problem. How does Mezzoforte sound? This act from Iceland always had a very unique approach to Jazz-Funk. Don't worry, there's more. Maceo Parker will funk hall no. 1 at the NDK like noone ever did before! You wanna get funky? This is your concert!
There is only one Peter Herbolzheimer. In his native Germany, he is also known as Mr. Bigband. That's because he re-invented the bigband by adding electronic instruments and the fascination of Jazz-Funk before anyone else did in the early 1970ies. He will be presenting his own compositions as well as pieces written by other great musicians in cooperation with the Jazz FM Orchestra. A stunning world premiere including arrangements which are too good to be real! They are real anyway.
Believe it or not, there is more: Bulgara, the Kampl-Liska-Duo, the Peter Weniger Trio and - hold on! - Michel Legrand supported by the Classic FM Orchestra.
